Chaga Chai

$10.00

This tea is a powerhouse of yummy, warming spice and incredible health benefits. With hints of the chaga's vanilla/birch profile undergirding the traditional chai spices, this is a great way to sneak healthy hacks into your normal teatime. Chaga has studies linking it to cancer deterrence, lowering blood sugar, easing inflammation, imparting potent antioxidants, and even lowering of high blood pressure.

Use this tea as a mulling spice to bring the cinnamon and ginger holiday vibes, and to extract the most from the chaga. As the tea will concentrate down with this method of cooking, you can simply add a couple tablespoons of the concentrate liquid to a cup of your favorite milk (we recommend organic coconut milk, if you can!), and store the rest in your fridge in a jar for up to a week. If you decide not to make this tea as a concentrate, simply brew according to the shorter instructions on the bag.

We recommend not drinking this tea if you have kidney issues or low blood sugar. If you have questions, call up your pharmacist and they can check your medications against chaga for interaction risk. We are not claiming to cure, treat, or prevent anything with this tea.

All packages are measured by dry weight. A 1 oz package will yield approximately 8-10 8oz servings.
