Wild Strawberry Lemonade Recipe!

I am friendly with folks, as you all know if you’ve met me, no matter what stage of their tea journey they are in. As I often joke, not knowing you like tea is a step on the tea journey. My genuine happiness to see every face that walks into my booth is not contingent on if that face buys from me or not!

But it’s the outright disdainful, wrinkle-nosing folks that give me a special thrill. I’ll explain.

I hear it over and over again: those fateful four words.

“I don’t like tea!”

And that’s when my smile gets even bigger. Because I know something they don’t and I’m excited to share.

So I respond with five words. “Have you tried tea lemonade?”

This usually throws them for a teeny loop. It’s honestly, secretly, a little bit fun to watch. Folks go from wrinkle-nosed, to intrigued, to interested in a matter of seconds. Usually by the time they reach “interested” I have pulled my sample bag of Wild Strawberry for them to smell. Ah, Wild Strawberry. The benchmark of perfection. Sweet and true. The slam dunk. 98% of people like this tea, and the other 2% are alergic to strawberries (sad face). I have made more recipes than I can count with this tea.

So today, I’m gonna share the recipe for “Convert Your Anti-Tea Friend” Lemonade, aka the Wild Strawberry Lemonade.

RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS:

You will need:

1 ounce package Tea of choice, likely Wild Strawberry (Helpfully, this tea is also fantastic with White Blueberry, Peach Oolong, and Blackberry Patch - just pay attention to the steeping instructions on each teas label)

8 cups Water

1 1/2 cups Sugar

1 1/2 cups Lemon Juice (not the dang squeezy bottle nonsense, pretty please)

Brew 2 cups of Wild Strawberry tea very concentrated (minimum half package, up to a full package of loose tea to 2 cups of water; the more leaves, the stronger the flavor and depending on the tea used, the more caffeine) according to package instructions.

Add to 6 cups water, 1.5 cups fresh squeezed lemon juice, and 1.5 cups sugar.

Stir together and serve chilled for some of the best strawberry lemonade you’ve ever tasted. People will be begging you to bring this to the next pool party or cookout.
